Required Trainings for Paraprofessionals in Special Education

Description

This course is intended to assist paraprofessionals in completing their annual required training. A paraprofessional is required to be provided at least 8 hours of paid orientation or professional development annually. Minnesota Statutes, section 125A.08 (c) requirements covered include: Roles & Responsibilities Confidentiality Vulnerability and reporting Understanding disabilities Following lesson plans Implementing follow-up instructional procedures and activities The videos and activities associated with this course are approximately 4 hours in length. 4 Required Training Hours certificate will be awarded.
