This course is designed to enhance awareness and knowledge of how to respond to suicidal challenges within a school system. Learning objectives include: Increase knowledge of the problem of youth suicide including suicide risk factors as well as the prevention of suicidal behavior; increase knowledge of warning signs of youth suicide; build skills necessary for communicating with youth who may be experiencing suicidal ideation.
